Family Formation

Family Formation was implemented in 2012 as an alternative learning environment. This program is for families with children ages K-6th grade who prefer to learn their faith together. Families meet once a month on the first Wednesday of the month for an hour and a half. Children in grade K-3 are taught in a classroom, grades 4-6 are taught together while the parents are taught about how to present weekly lessons at home during each month.

This program is based on our Church’s liturgical three year cycle. Families make a pledge as to when each week they will sit down, without interruption, and learn their faith. It is filled with information and activities. This program is ideal for families who attend church regularly together and has been proven to build strong families that can communicate with each other on any topic at any time.
