Next Wednesday, June 10th, at 7:30 am, St. Joseph Catholic Church Mass will livestream an online Mass, titled: “Mass of Peace and Healing.” In the midst of the many different things that are currently bringing great tension in our world, we pray for grace, healing, hope, and above all, for peace in this time of great trouble.
We are reminded in Psalm 46, verses 2-8, “God is our refuge and our strength, an ever-present help in distress. Thus we do not fear, though earth be shaken and mountains quake to the depths of the sea, Though its waters rage and foam and mountains totter at its surging. Streams of the river gladden the city of God, the holy dwelling of the Most High. God is in its midst; it shall not be shaken; God will help it at break of day. Though nations rage and kingdoms totter, he utters his voice and the earth melts. The LORD of hosts is with us; our stronghold is the God of Jacob.” (USCCB.org)
The scripture readings, intersessions, homily, and music will all parallel the theme of the Mass, sharing peace, hope and healing during this time of great uncertainty.
We invite you to join us online Wednesday morning at 7:30 am for this live-streamed liturgy. It will be archived and posted on our parish website (click here) and Facebook page for for viewing anytime after the livestream.
